As part of his thesis work at Georgia Tech, Michael investigated the effects of tuning the ratios of pro- and anti-inflammatory neuropeptides, with an emphasis on their immunological and anti-neoplastic effects.  During a post-doctoral sabbatical, he synthesized a variety of polymeric agents for specialized drug delivery, which served to target and concentrate anti-inflammatory agents to activated immune cells and sites of high oxidative stress.  At Novartis/CIBAVision, Michael developed a series of Biomarker Assays contact lenses from clinical patients which allowed for personalized tuning of contact lens coatings to improve ocular inflammatory outcomes and specialized diagnostic approaches for early disease detection and prevention.  

 

Shay Hutchison is, a tech-savvy health entrepreneur and executive, holding dual roles as Co-Founder at Pain Free, a comprehensive health solutions company, and VP of Virtual Care at TWC. Additionally, Shay presents his expertise as a VP at Encore Telemedicine, with years of experience building out telemedicine programs with a network of over 1200 physicians nationwide.  Mr. Hutchinson has implemented and overseen millions of telemedicine encounters with a decade of experience in the industry.  

At 44 years old, Andrei Arlovski is currently the oldest active fighter signed with the UFC. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion has had a successful career in MMA with over 30 professional fights and remains a well respected figure in the world of MMA.

Currently, Andrei Arlovski is number 2 all-time in total UFC fights with 40 trailing only Jim Miller (42 Fights).  Additionally, Arlovski is tied for the second most UFC wins with Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone (retired) with 23 and only 2 wins behind Jim Miller.  His next fight is scheduled for UFC Fight Night January 13th, 2024 in Las Vegas.

It's safe to say that "The Pit Bull" knows a bit about anti-aging and taking care of his body.  Since 2020, Arlovski has a record of 6 wins and 3 losses.  During that span his opponents average age was 33 years old (11 years younger).  Currently the average age of UFC Fighters is 29.
